Requiem for Love (Triolet)

Missing image
While mystic wind murmurs in one accord,
a whisper soft kisses the empty air.
To starry heavens my loneliness soared,
while mystic wind murmurs in one accord.

With abandoned dreams I now move toward
an uncertain time of fear and despair.
While mystic wind murmurs in one accord,
a whisper soft kisses the empty air.

'Neath star laden sky one thought does remain,
residing in me midst earth's woeful cry.
Our passionate love which heart does sustain,
'neath star laden sky one thought does remain.

Our brushing of lips leaves permanent stain,
even though hopes and dreams have gone awry.
'Neath star laden sky one thought does remain,
residing in me midst earth's woeful cry.

This was very well written. The 2nd and 3rd readings were much smoother and more enjoyable.

    Thanks for entering.

This is beautiful, it just flows so nicely. I always say I'm going to attempt one of these forms, but I doubt I could pull it off as well as you do!
    Great work!
