I'm only dust.
You are painted
with light, but
you are vulnerable.
Green masquerades:
This is only glory,
do you avow vanity?
Save yourself; fall
to your knees, spill
over and crumble.
Newborn eyes? First
conquer yourself,
then claim your right.
Your faith is blind;
call your past and
find me waiting.
You can play your
cards, but only in the
pieces of your pride.
You're only dust.

hey
Sorry I judged this contest so late. I had a million and one things to do.
I'm only dust. How modest! Hihi
You're only dust. Thank you for the compliment!
Save yourself; fall
to your knees, spill
over and crumble. Well If you insist!
No, sorry!
I think it is a poem I really need to think about several times. I believe it is brought enough to give it your own meaning, and that makes it so hard for me to judge.
I don’t really see how it fits in my contest, though I appreciate you letting me read this.
Love & Peace.
