I waited for a lightning strike
I knew it would come in the heat of the night
Rolling with thunder as it falls from the sky
And all I could do was watch your lips lie baby
Oh how those lips lied, I just knew you would lie
What happened to days in the sun
When we were alone and there was no-one
How our hearts were in tune
We were over the moon
Well our time has come and you tell everyone
It's time to fly
Oh why did you lie baby, Oh why did you lie
I'm asking you why, why did you lie
You pretend that you care
But when I'm not there
Your eyes that decieve, does your heart bleed
I know your not shy
So lets say goodbye
And don't tell me more lies baby
Don't tell me more lies

I felt the emotions in this so much. I hate liars especially when they are bare face liars, it just brings so much pain and hurt. A great write Kym.
