Witness

From dusk to dawn
a thousand days, a thousand years
time ripples in waves
currents of knowledge
proved then unproved

and proved again

I could sit here in reflection
contemplating my purpose
conjuring up conclusions
about the past and future
even realize the pointlessness

of life and death

If nothing beyond the grave
if no life continues
then no need to help others
only me, myself, and money

the american dream drenched in

chaos and greed

Yet if a God did exist
if our life is meant to have meaning
then wouldn't God be involved?
stirring the longing within our soul
for a God that dosn't care

is the same as no God at all

But even in the written word
I wouldn't see evidence of His existence
nor lack there of
If life was meant to serve ourselves
then religion would be the way

we man, shall build a tower to the heavens

yet if life was meant for relationship

then wouldn't we want to choose that life
for if He split the skies apart
and said "thou shall love me or die"
wouldn't that deny my free will

the right to choose

Heaven or Hell
isn't judgment
its' love
so you can believe what you want
but rather I'm right or wrong

I don't lose in anyway

If God is perfect love

and that love needs to grow

then creating man

was for a relationship

for wasn't that the purpose of Eden?

"for God walked and talked with man"

prove or disprove
no need of a validation

to know in one's own heart
is proof enough, at least for me
without doubt or fear of my destiny

for I am a witness and a follower of the way

Author notes

The bible says God is love and God created man in His image, the image of love, and we were meant for an eteranl life with God, until the sin, "for the wages of sin is death", for sin cannot be any part of God. Yet only a perfect sacrafise could be given to cleanse us of all unrighteousness, so Jesus became sin and died on the cross so that we might have life, the might is due to our choice to freely choose that path, but to not take away our free will, the option to choose hell is there as well, yet the place was never intended for humans, but He can't stop us from going there if we don't choose the strait and narrow road, for the temptations of the devil is great and pleasurable, I know, but it is only temporary and can never fulfill us, I know this as well. God gave us enough pieces to seek Him and learn about Him, but not enough to prove His existance, otherwise the freedom to choose would be pointless, for who would choose Hell directly? One dosn't need evidance, only faith.

Thanx, I found in revelations that the angels that circle God, every time they came to the side of His face they fell on thier knees in praise and worship for all of eternity, now I look at this and think if God is so infinite, than no matter how much we read the word or how much we listen to His voice and spend time in His presence, we will never learn all their is to know about Him. There is always something new that needs to be revealed to us by His glory and by His grace. Grace is the ability to do what we cannot do in our own strength. thanks again - Jacen.
