You set my heart on fire.
And then, in your passion,
You held the match to my house,
My car,
My pet dog (Oh, how he howled)
My antique grandfather clock,
And every book on my shelves.
And then, in the heat of the moment,
You danced around the smoldering ashes,
Whooping and cheering and yelling,
Unaware that your love had been
My ultimate demise.
Perhaps I'd rather you just kiss me.
