The Unnoticed

She held the knife to her throat as she drew her last breath
I watched silently as depression turned into death
I'll never forget the moment she took her own life
I'll never forget the dark, red blood running down her knife
What drove her to this unfaithful ending?
Was there a silent message she tried sending?
Could I have caused her suicidal decission?
I should've given her all of my attention
As I look into her wide open eyes, I see the rejection
I wish I would've seen that she needed my affection
I read her poems, they are so full of hate
I wish I could save her but it's too late
Everything between me and her swifted away
All of our "I love you's" had drifted away
As tears fall from my eyes, my heart falls from my chest
I grab a gun and shoot myself in the head.

Author notes

I had this dream once about my best friend.Lately me and her have broken away because she moved.I think that's why I had the dream.

wow. this is really good. you can't kill yourself over a friends death. if anything they were wishing for you to live on, to do teh things tehy couldn't have. sometimes you never know when a person wants to die. it's because they're to afraid to let anyone know, to get help. some people think others will look down on them if they do that. I really like your poem. thank you so much for entering my contest. later!~
