The petals swirl in a circle not realizing the pains,
as the dance begins your life slows and drains.
death comes even slower the petals gliding gracefully,
you see your life flash, you know you will die peacefully.
if this is death, it is a happy alternative to life,
so beautiful an end, you are happy at your strife.
the petals dance, the trees sway, all nature saluting you,
if this is the ending then how can i worry, nature's hue.
the eyes darken but the dance grows stronger,
you only wish you could watch it a little longer.
the petals swirl, a bittersweet symphony for your ears,
the pain of death is not registering, only happy tears.
complete the dance, end the long life with petals glide,
a happy ending, now it's time to meet life's other side.

I like it... quite an interesting take on life not at all weird though maybe so for me because I'm constantly exposed to this kinda cyclical perspective here in a predominantly Budhist country... though you don't quite mention rebirth or anything but at least the portraying death to be serene part~ thnnx 4 entering!

Very interesting and creative. It's a clever piece and I really like it. I enjoyed reading it very much

i like the way you made it in to a dance. that's sort of the way i look at life: a long dance. sometimes slow, sometimes fast and always unpredictable. and yes many of your poems are sad, but poems are supposed to be about what's inside right? and one of the best escapes from saddness is poetry. you're doing a great job =]
