People always tried to take away
Our love,
But we would never let them.
Because of who we were
They said it was
Wrong, that it was not allowed.
We would avoid the words,
Huddling together so close
We appeared as an abstract painting.
And even when we died,
Even when caught in a cold slit
Between the Earth,
They were never able to seperate our bones
Into pile of you and me,
Were never able to pull us apart.

Very sweet and loving, which is why I'm surprised you placed this in the dark and pain categories. I think this represents more of a "true love" feel, than anything remotely dark.
I really like your representation of the picture in your poem. You "brought the dead" back to life in the beginning of your poem, to represent their days of life.
Your final stanza is, by far, my favorite one.
"They were never able to separate our bones/ into pile of you and me/ were never able to pull us apart." (So you know, there is a spelling error with separate there) -
