Velvet Vessel

Missing image
There is wave
to rush my Ocean's wetter wish
in pounding pulse
to swell forever
from deep within the need for motion;

to ebb in flow,
as Passion's presence
in bubbled shore of smoother skin,

where moon and tide
might smile together
finding laugh as Night's lost river,

in something wilder
rolling cover
of deeper trust in velvet vessel

pumping power.

Mercurial magnetism taking form in silver mirth,

    "where moon and tide
    might smile together
finding laugh as Night's lost river"

"Even the night shall be made light about thee."
    (Psalms)

As always your love of life and life of love surges.

I like these lines, a wonderful poem!
This is great, and I like 'pumping power' as the
conclusion. No cliche here in this poem!

"of deeper trust in velvet vessel
    pumping power"

Those two lines especially break the cliche of "heart". I've written a similar poem earlier and I know how hard it is...but I guess for you it's easy. Wonderfully done - I like the velvet touch here!
