There's something I wish to say..
Of a secret, promised to keep -
A precious secret, treasured deep
In my heart's private room, its kept to stay..
The stars of midnight shall be dear
While in silence, beneath the skies we lie,
I hold my breath to hear
That melody, as you breathe so near
Amidst the breeze that goes humming by.
With a gentle kiss, I wake you with care
I know its time and the time is right
Then my secret sweet, with you I'd share
Of my love for you, so true and rare,
To you my dear, I'll whisper that night.

Ah! The romance is endearing here poet. Your lines soothe the reader. What a wonderful mood these words lend to the reader. Very worthy of Mention for sure! Congratulations. Is this a form or did you simply choose to write with this rhyme scheme. Either way is is elegantly crafted.

such a romantic, well-penned piece of poetry. You have a really nice flow to this piece and the ending with reference to "my dear" and "whisper that night" seems to bring a certain closeness all the more with romantic hints of whispers as the last thing at the end of the day that is shared between you.
