In the darkness to this our sad day goes on
now to the cold days of long winters past
when the end is near and everything gone
to this our cold hearts the frailness will last
when the end is decided that i will die
in teh darkness beautifully silent
to this our sas day at last i say goodbye
running around searching for the one light
yet to the cold days of long winters past
i run away from the light of my life
yet the sun burns away, where the love once lived
we are done now, give up this endless strife
now it is done, all gone, stone and cold
now it over, hold on, be brave, bold

this is a sonnet that i had given into my english teacher along with 3 other poems for a project that we were doing. i was the only student that got an a out of my entire class
