There once was a gentle, kindhearted man,
David was his given name from his mom.
So gentle and loving was to most,
Yet the trials of this life created...
Greedy Smurf, a man unlike the others.
He saw what he wanted and took it too.
Never mind it wasn’t his to be had,
Greedy got what he wanted, even you.
Smurfette was a silly little creature,
full of hope that all of the world was kind.
Flowers were her favourite things to behold,
giving them daily to her friends and foes.
Though others would take advantage of her,
she tried to do the best within her heart.
Often she landed in troubles and tears,
and there was Greedy to wipe them away.
A son was born years before the two met,
but Greedy became his father in time.
Jonny became Greedy JR in heart,
though David still influenced the small boy.
Coveting things that were not to be had,
Greedy and his boy both went to prison.
Now this left Smurfette in quite a quandary,
she cried for days and sent letters to both.
Greedy left a mark upon her sad heart,
teaching her to trust her instincts and smiles.
David began to show more with each word,
her understanding the man brought her joy.
Greedy JR sits in a prison cell,
where his mother prays Jonny will return.
Her love and respect for them never waned,
she looks for the very best every day.
She told me to tell the boys to behave!
Longing for them home where they do belong,
free to live, free to love, free to shed tears.
So if you see them will you tell them this?
The world is at your hands if you will try.
Don’t fret over the mistakes you have made.
Work hard and the world will give you a chance.
Know that there are some who have faith in you.
The message given is of importance,
for the men behind the greed are worthy.
They are kind, gentle, and smarter than most.
They just need someone to believe in them.

to jonny and david with love
though David and I are not involved in 'that' way, i believe in him and know he can stay free from prison's bars. David and Jonny both are awesome but greed helps them to play the game and they both play it well. funny, i don't worry about them where i am concerned. but watch out if the little blue critters surface in your town. that is why i want David and Jonny, not some silly little cartoon characters.

I really enjoyed this one.
So visual.
I especially liked:
