I and others have lost lots of time and opportunities by not blooming where time and circumstance has planted us. It is feudal to repeat history only to see a repetition of an inability to change. Perseverance has its place and so does making no mistake that some things are beyond our ability to change and require being flexible so we can utilize opportunities we'd otherwise be blind to.
