I held on as tightly as I dared
onto the Light,
but the darkness within my womb caused
it to die in
a rush of hot blood. It slipped to the
floor, never to
be remembered, extinguished, even,
its heartbeat stalled
forever. I wish I'd known her name.
I had in mind
Aurora, the goddess of the dawn ...

Aurora is her name, she is remembered.
Dawn is your special time. A most personal
piece, to you and to me. Thank you for sharing.
