There's not a land or sea beside me.
You
know. If I find a shell it's a plus.
Like a beached whale I'll become you,
because I walk the tide line,
following the light that bounces off your stomach,
and every nature born bump is mine.
We're both here from always and never drift,
just the same way you shape
round my heels when I sit.
Every world that joins us laps up where we meet,
just to make shore.

there was great imagery in this piece
I enjoyed reading it... I especially enjoyed the line, "We're both here from always and never drift."

just the same way you shape
round my heels when I sit.that was a great line and image to me.you live in Cornwall or Devon? I spent my summers holidays in those parts.I'm always partial to an ocean themed piece.

Thank you for entering,
A very unique way of expression. The tide line
is one of those magical in between places.
