Who knew Batman could loose his luster...

Crusty eye lids pop open with a start
Heart racing as you sit up, or down...

[& now we know the meaning of that excessive headache]

"Help me, save me, Which ever If you please"
Just in the nick of time
Our glorious Hero has come...

But what happens when, capes and tights
are the only qualification
the Hero's application list
sure has collected a stack

So many, IN fact, In fact
Who needs a (Hero) any way
when every one is special
no one is anything... anymore...

(over rated  & under used, just like you like it)

Our fairytale ending
Is now the over played, cinmatic closer
Stiffiling yawns, you stumble
Out of that Matinee

"Every hero becomes a bore at last"

I like the whole concept of this piece, unique and eyecatching. I couldn\'t pick a favourite line because they all tie into something else, which is brilliant. But if I had to pick the fifth stanza is what really stands out to me. The way it is worded is exception, to the point yet imaginative. I am glad that you did not use a whole lot of punctuation, and where you did use some it was meaningful. Thanks for entering and good luck
