faeries

i see the faeries dancing...holding each other tight.
both are torn and tattered, just making it through the night.
the trees and and plants are laughing, as the faeries twist and turn,
holding on to each other, as for safety of the morning they yearn.
the moon and stars are taunting, as they know the horrid past.
that haunt the faeries for always, and forever it will last.
slowly spiralling downwards,slowly losing life.
and still forever more they dance, to the music of the fife

These faeries are people with something special inside them; beautiful strong spirits. A powerfully expressed poem. Great work.
I think you accidently typed 'and' twice in the third line.
    Thanks for entering.
