Here,
in a cosy living room
within
a tiny village
flanked by
English countryside
just south of
Gretna Green
I'm
talking to poets
in Africa
America, Australia,
New Zealand, India, Napal...
Who would have thought
I'd ever find these
precious souls
to add such pleasure
to my life?
We gather here,
all ages
nationalities
and creeds
to share our passion
in a thousand ways.
For that
and so much more,
I want to thank
the ones behind the scenes.

Your poetry enables the reader to visualize your location in the green garden of England ( Happy St.Georges Day btw!!!) and sends tendrils of touching warmth across the world,the multi national family of allpoetry and the ability of the staff of ap indeed make our poetic community a wonderful place of creativity,always refreshing to read of goodness and gladness for the world is too full of sorrow and sadness,here we may share,care and bare our souls with poetry as our common goal,good luck in the contest,I see the warmth and appreciation of ap to write of was no test but a chance for you to say what is held deep within breast.

That is something we never even thought of writing, this has made me feel like i'm a selfish soul, and the truth is, i am, but now i think you've thanked AP, from all of us and i'd like to thank you for that. However you did not mention poets from Nepal, or maybe you did not see me.

How sweet of you to voice what so many of us feel. Just the other day for example I felt so down, and so I got on to see if anyone had commented on my work. Low and behold was the nicest comment which brightened my whole day. I find that happens often, so many kind souls gather here to vent, share and just have a little encouragement for doing something we all love.

I find it fun talking to so many different people too! This site is a really wonderful place to get some great feedback, and meet some amazing people too! I am lucky enough to have gotten to know a few people quite well, who I am now proud to call friends.
