You've hung me here to dry.
I'm all alone in this world.
You were the one person I could rely on.
And now you're gone.
What I would do for another kiss..
another touch..
another moment in your arms.
The one place I want to be,
It's impossible.
It would be so simple if you just wanted me..
So I wonder, what can i do?
Well you've made up your mind
I can't change it.
So I lay here..thinking of you.
Unable to sleep, twisting and turning throughout the night.
While you have a pleasant nights rest.
I ask myself..is this fair?
No it can't be
It's just a typical teenage thing.
Overwhelmed with feelings and self doubt
I stand here; missing you
I will stand here until my very last breath escapes from my lungs.

The sadness in this poem brought on by the abandonment you feel is truly amazing i dont think anyone could ever imagine the pain that you are going through.

This is a very emotional write. I enjoyed reading this poem, since I too, am a teenager, so think that some of the things I'm going through are just phases. My favorite part was;
"The one place I want to be,
It's impossible.
It would be so simple if you just wanted me.."
I know how it is to feel unwanted, and how it would be simple if the person shared the same feelings toward you. Extraordinary write! Good luck in my contest.
