Why, why were my dusky golden brown eyes so blind,
Why didn’t I see what your dark ebony eyes had refined,
The lies you told, the excuses you made,
The look on your face as you watched my heart break,
The pain you saw in my dusky golden brown eyes,
The tears you saw my broken heart cry,
The love you know I felt for you,
But your dark ebony eyes never said I love you too,
In my heart I knew your truth I saw past all your lies,
But I chose to ignore so my broken heart dies,
My wicked thoughts and fantasies never bothered you,
I don’t know why I expected it to,
My guilt gnawed at my heart and laughed as it bled,
You didn’t care you wanted my heart dead,
My dusky golden brown eyes have cried too many times because of a broken heart,
A broken heart that was whole at the start,
The heart I gave you but you ruined with your lies,
The lies you tried to conceal behind your dark ebony eyes.

This was a very emotional peice and i love the way you've used the eyes to be the expressions of your poem. Eyes are our very windows to the soul and in some people can tell you everything.
