Circling around your memories

My beautiful friend is this your destiny
Faded so far from everything you dreamed..

You would have had to.
Moments in our friendship lead me to believe
That I have let it slip.
Or shown it ever so blindly.
But to see you now
With everything you've become
You're breaking my heart..
At least the piece I left with you.
You're broken and torn
Falling from what you were
You're so far gone you are barely recognizable
I wish you knew how much I missed you
I wish I could tell you.
But the moment for us to be friends has long since passed.
Now you just look at me with a certain resent and memory.
Memories I cherish and you wish to forget...
But I can't blame you...
I just wrote this to let you know I still love you..

So I actually found that this poem fit both quotes.
