I live in a bottle
A world within this world
The sky is sometimes blue
It's sometimes black to match my mood
I float about in an existence
Of calm waters and stormy waves
Everyday is different
Everyday is a new day

The sun doesn't always shine
But rain doesn't always fall
Sometimes it's just partly cloudy
Sometimes I'm just moody
But each day is one more breath
One more experience
One more dream
Each day is a new world

The bottle will eventually break
The message wash away
Memory still serves best
Each day a new canvas
Paints in blacks, blues, reds, greens
A sea of hopes, wishes, maybes
Things that were, things that will be
It can't rain all the time
