People of Camnia say
That on a peaceful morning
In a time of chaos
The legend will appear in the sky
The legend will raise their sword
and bring down all darkness
The only one that could stand equally
The black knight
The black knight will appear
after the heartbreak of one dearly loved
to seek revenge on the innocent one
It is said their battle will be epic
Much heartache will come
but they also say
when the dust settles
one will lie dying with forgiveness
in their eyes
So till that day
When the legend appears in the sky
we can only hope that time
is far from now

I love the title . .
I like the line "the legend will raise their sword" As if the action will take place monumentarily for the legend to strike a foe in vile mercy. It's a nice touch for a nice lil' write. Thanks for entering my contest and goodluck.

I can see how this is a story but it is still written in poetic form. I would have preferred paragraph form but that's okay. I think the city of Camnia sounds very interesting - I wouldn't mind visiting there, haha.

A legend. Your story brings to mind the power of a sword and the role it plays in yours as well as other great tales.

I feel that I have read a summary of a much larger story that was running through your mind. An "epic" battle that I should like to hear, although you say "we can only hope that time is far from now"
