I wish I may, I wish with might,
to have the wish, I wish each night.
I been wishing so long I'm wondering
if wishin's worth wishing at all.
Falling stars, first one in the sky,
I sat and wished on all I saw.
So which star's the wishing star?
I wish I may, I wish with might,
to have the wish, I wish each night.
I wished on satelites, and planes,
wished on everything a wish,
that's never going to change.
I wish I may, I wish with might,
to have the wish, I wish each night.
I wish for once, my wish would come true
and maybe you'd wish for me too
but I can't find that wishing star.
I wish I may, I wish with might,
to have the wish, I wish each night.

usually I don't like that much repition in poetry but for this piece it worked wonders I like how you keep wishing on everything you can see in the sky just waiting for your wish to come true excellent write best of luck to you in the contest

Thanks. I'm glad to see you enjoyed it. I agree on the repetition I was thinking it was to much.
