Breakable Threads(Hope And Faith)

Pardon what I'm about to say
dont slap my mouth for the thoughts I portray
but please let me speak
of what I hope to be real.

I'm not religious
and on many accounts I deny a God or a Devil
but what I'm about to ask
goes to any religious icon...

Please part the clouds
that hide your face,
come out of the ocean
your dwelling demon place,

come out of your forrests,
your sand storms,
your mountains,
your hiding place.

Come out and walk the streets
seeing the children dying in them,
the poor soul being eaten away by rats,
thats only a small bit of what you are to see.

Come and see the schools
the silent but violent rebellion
the teachers afraid of the students they teach
the students not understand the values teachers preach.

Come into any home
and notice the enemies within
the bruises visible and not
the families that arent families at all.

Come to a gay mans home
look inside his heart
notice the tears he is crying
all because he's proclaimed a sin.

Go to a American Muslim's home
hear the words America, the land of the free
throw in his face
of how all Muslim's are a like, infidels in America's sight.

See a man on his death bed
he'll wish he could change everything
the way he lived,
what choices he made.

Look at the men and women
lusting with others
lack of communication
or a need of sex in their head.

Old men are driving mountainous Hummers
while Kids are starving in the streets
do they go unseen?
Do they go unneeded?

I've showed you and told you
only a small protion of what goes on,
what are you planning to do
to make this no longer reality?

We've tried
we have activists
we have leaders
nothing seems to work.

And America's most powerful Leader
has at the most a C Average brain
he's lead us into turmoil
Why?

Please help us,
faith and hope are out last threads to a better tomorrow
but hope and faith are very breakable threads
we've all gone crazy leaving the world blind.

Don't be afraid of the monsters you've created
we're no better than the terrifying closet monster
but we're alive and breathing
stop us please!
