To let me know when I've been bad
It must have been hard, buts that's being
a dad.
You're strong and smart and filled with love--
A gift to me from up above.

thanks for all the present and future comments. for the record my dad loved the poem and read it aloud to all my relatives
they didnt believe me that i worked hard on this poem for a month to get the stupid ryhme perfect . stupid people but they loved it too so i guess it dosent matter. anyway thanks for all the wonderful and not so wonderful comments

This is wonderful. Great flow, nice rhyming pattern, but the spelling could use some work (mostly just the last stanza.) If you care to change it, go ahead.
