Every morning
When I awake
The sight, the scent
The savor of you
Stir my heart and soul
Coffee I need not
Just a cup of you

LOL Oh man, I was sitting here commenting, thanking every for entering and what have you, and thinking to myself how I could really go for a cup of coffee right now. You have no idea the giggle I got when I got to this piece

Very Sweet
I like this poem a lot. It's a pretty original metaphor, and those seem to be hard to come by these days. And I like the way you set it up. For the first few lines, the reader might believe that it's a cute little coffee-worship poem, but then, at the end, you make it a powerful love story. And the fact that it's so short makes it even more remarkable. Good work!
