Isaiah 40:31

those who hope in the LORD
find strength he doth afford
He will renew their strength
taking them to any length
bestowing their just reward

those who hope in the LORD
are blessed with life restored
He will renew their strength
They will soar on wings like eagles

those who hope in the LORD
blessed with the holy sword
know by His depth and length
He will renew their strength

A Rondeau is a French form, 15 lines long, consisting of three stanzas: a quintet, a quatrain, and a sestet with a rhyme scheme as follows: aabba aabR aabbaR . Lines 9 and 15 are short - a refrain (R). A refrain (R) consisting of a phrase taken from line one. The other lines are longer (but all of the same metrical length).

    I felt like I was really connected with this peice. When I first saw it, it gave me a hopeful flashback... This was a very nice write. Good luck, I am very impressed with this. It's beautiful.

    Maaterpiece of Scripture in Rondeau

    How beautifual a scripture dear niece to use in a French rondeau form because peace is so resonant,with the repeating.."They those who hope on the Lord"The greatest strength is in the last verse where you are girded with a Holy Sword He has given them His strength
    They will soar on eagles wings!" What a blessed poem and so timely....at this present time, when emotional and mental pressures continue with other members of the AP family......We need him as no time before....Beautiful, Amera!
