Words unspoken
Their message heard
Communicated in the stillness
The beating of two hearts
Blending their rhythms
Connecting in the calmness
Fingers caressing
Embracing in tenderness
Comfortable in the quiet
Eyes closed to the world
Their own reality
Created in the silence
Two minds lost in thought
Unaware of anyone else
Consumed in the quiescence
Infatuation still blinding
Adoration building
Content in their solitude

This is great. Silence can be so deafening sometimes. I really love this write. Nicely done.

silence is one of the most intense things and yet is so easily overpowered.
thanks!

this is crazy true, I've felt like that before. a fealing that marits silence and the ability to be explained only with body language. very well done.

thank you. sometimes words just aren't needed.

Not surprisingly, I found this work very calm and passive. It was just the right length, and had great flow. stanzas one through three were the best. Rock on.

This is so beautiful and eloquent; all of it. It makes me long for something like that again. My favorite part is this:
The beating of two hearts
Blending their rhythms
Connecting in the calmness
Fingers caressing
Embracing in tenderness
Comfortable in the quiet
Eyes closed to the world
Their own reality
Created in the silence
I especially like your 2nd stanza in the poem.
Excellent write. I'm glad I read.
