transcend the values of others, of everything (including the self) ;
take the knowledge you've been given & place it back upon the shelf,
in place of something better. :no colors or shapes, no sound in my
head: --- what is given is fed is purged for perspective; take a
step back, rethink why you live. there's no reason, there's no sense,
there's no time for innocence when nature's in control, when
the words of humanity have become monotone & droll. :i'm
not supposed to feel, i forgot who i am:, my name has been upturned
by the hierarchy of status, of working to my death. statutory slavery,
given upon birth into the government of society, pollution on the
beauty of nature's clarity. where did all this dust come from?
:my dog needs new ears, make his eyes see forever, make him live
like me: (robotic); remove the brain & instead of untame, he is part
of the train, battery propelled, intention instilled, (potential remains
unfulfilled). :i'm wired to the world, that's how i know everything: --
know the tunes that the birds & the bats sing, by heart, right
from the start. incentive for the use of intuition has me cornered
against these man-made walls-- breaking free i realize, i am one, in
addition to all.
Author notes
this was an "essay" for english in which i had to find a song that related to transcendentalism, & write about the similarities & what it taught, using quotes. the song was 'Utopia' by Goldfrapp, & the parts between :s were directly from that song.
