Twisted personality
Bands of colour wound
Tightly into one strong cord
With fire, wind are bound
There is a sunny side of me
That dances with the dawn
Sprinkling light and rainbows round
And bounding like a fawn
This pretty side, this angel side
This butterfly in me
This swan that I have sought to be
Gives wings, I fly high, free
But what goes up must soon come down
And light must fade to dark
Sometimes I switch to raven's call
From singing with the larks
There is a darker side of me
One I strive to hide
Sensual siren, breaking hearts
On wings of evil ride
This shadow side, this devil side
This lioness me
Venom seeping through the cracks
A different kind of free
And what I am, you must beware
The darkness and the light
For both are me, and I am both
From dawn to blackest night
Twisted personality
And bands of colour wound
The blacks and whites and shadowed grays
With fire, earth are bound

Beautiful, we all have our light and dark sides, some show them more then others, and a grand painting you left in my mind.

This was really great. I love the descriptions of dark and light, good and evil. I love the idea. I love the whole thing. Really interesting. Best of luck in the contest.

Thank you for your entry into my contest and good luck.

Perfect description of both, gorgeous...I love it, always. This one is one of your best.
(Then again, I say that about all of them, don't I?)
