I run from your memory
I hide from the pain
Burn your touch from my skin
Bleed your name from my body
Always running
Never ceasing

And still it finds me
Chasing further
Until nowhere is safe
It catches me again
Drives all reason from my mind
Numbs me, sears me
Until I pry it from my soul
And am again free
For now
