Tease

A tense web of coiled emotion
Tracing back to you
... and leading to you...

Please explain you're presence as
teasing the perimetre no longer satisfies.

Gone for good?
Ha! There's an ironic sentiment...

It seems I'm searching for ~that~ filling feeling
Aren't we all sick to death of ~this~ empty uncertainty?

But who will deliver?

Please tell me what you think

    liked it

was this about an old love that just wont go away? wont go away but at the same time keeps its distance, always out of reach? atleast thats the feeling i got.. well whatever the narrator was referring to, it made me think about my last relationship and the hopelessness of it all. good work!

One of my favourites of yours...

I love this... I really do. I read it a few days ago and it left an impression on me then and I came back to comment. First of all the poem reads sublimely, it almost jumps of the page, begging for its perfect rhythmn to be spoken aloud. Also, the voice of the narrator is beautifully realised. His/her words evoke empathy and understanding. I love the ambiguous questioning nature of this piece. Of course as I know you ideas of what the poem may mean flicker through my mind but only you could reveal it's meaning. Hope to speak to you soon Camlek, you bloody great poet you! Jon x
