I look up at the stars as I think to myself ..
Oh how I wish..God "I miss you so .."
My heart cries out your name
as my soul reaches up
feeling the warmth of your embrace
hearing you speak my name..
in my mind the image of you
becomes so clear.my heart overwhelms with joy
my eyes no longer cry as I drift off..
to be with you in the starry sky above
but then it becomes cold silence fills the air
no longer do I feel your embrace
the pain I once knew has returned
and image of you is gone
making me realize your home
is now in heaven and mine is here on Earth
where my life still go on
without you standing by my side
