My Guide
By Steph Hardy
Alone in the world
Save for one
He guides me through
Shows me the way
Teaches me the important
Along with the unimportant
He in nameless
And silent
But he is there
I feel the presence
I take his examples
I learn everything
He is my guide
By my side
Every moment
He never leaves me
My spirit
My Guide

I much like the sentiment which you have expressed here.
I read an affirmation of a presence of guidance, which we all need and call upon in our different ways.
I do find it hard to properly reconcile this with the prompt though, since for me it seems that this points beyond 'Animal'. If the form of an animal was used to represent a guide, with particular powers, that would be different but here there is no such description... neither do I think it needs to have one.
This write is great as far as I am concerned but for me it fails to connect to the prompt.
Thank you very much for sharing it all the same.

Good
good write. here, the speaker writes about the omnipresence, omniscience of "He" and His faithfulness. the "I" makes it more personal, because even though "He" is always there, "He" is a personal entity.
