Blood stains of rage throb in the heart,
red hot heat scorches the veins,
deep down the flame roars,
till it shines at both two ends of my pulsing candle.
One end is an inferno of volcanic lust,
pouring out its lava of ire so intense I shake from its power,
praying it won't awake that horrible demonic sloth to become hell's tiger,
possessing my very soul, sending me to slaughter and devour.
The other edge of my living candle has a deeper scarlet flame,
warming my cold arteries, awakening the cadaver of my desires,
mummified from the death in trust
when a former lover bled my spirit in her wicked, vampire bites of betrayal
which sucked me dry of every ounce of passion's plasma.
It is easily set ablaze that end to glow so lovingly radiant,
giving me reason to not allow hate be my paramour,
if a single caress of genuine care strikes its match,
turning my darkness into life.
Each moment I vascillate between the candle's two wicks,
ever keeping the vicious one smoldering,
wanting the other side to always flicker and ignite.
Holding inside my every secret torch of truth,
hoping no one will notice what simmers in my pot of sensuous stew,
nor the shade of them one can sense in the hues hinted in my orbs,
where if one looks deeper, they will notice what lies
behind crimson tainted eyes.

woah! this was crazy...in a good way! i really, really liked it. it's creepy too...you did a great job with this one. the background is a little ditracting, but it kind of adds to the mood! awesome write!
