Eliciting answers to a life unworthy...
Perdition had left its putrid stench upon me,
callousness hardened the core within my saddened heart,
and I became an apparition with no home.
My heart began its soul-deep metamorphosis.
Despising lacerations deep within my soul,
I sought out to sublimate cold whispering tears.
Tribulation would not defeat life’s purpose,
love would be tangible no matter what the cost.
Verdant decisions often led to my despair,
{haste has a way of relinquishing true wisdom}.
Furtively seeking my freedom I found my path,
no apostasy, no hatred to be embraced.
I found myself somewhere along the way of pain,
now I am free to love and to receive love’s return.
Lessons learned can be unlearned {if they were taught wrong},
for the True Teacher speaks only from His wisdom.

Full circle
Yes we can reteach ourselves to leave the past behind and glow in the future. For we are our own keepers and only we can decide to shine instead of tears clouding our eyes. You can never change the past but you can let the child learn just how to love and be loved for the child within never forgot how . -
powerful words for the highly emotional poem...
