The very myriad
You see on stormy days
Shine me
Make a spectrum
Only see the changing shades
Colours flicker, never constant

With such beauty comes a price
I can never be the same way twice
Today I'm happy, yellow girl
Tomorrow, I'll be navy
Or a too-dark olive green
But a dominance
The over-riding smile
Of sunny blue
The darker shades fade
Flicker and disappear

Aww wow this one made me smile so much! I LOVE the way you've used colour here, it's a fantastic portrayal! Clever use of both dark and light, but loved how the brighter colours shone through, especially the 'over-riding smile of sunny blue'.
Nice you were able to say s much in such a short space too. Liked the way you used repetition too, and really visual words such as 'flicker' (I don't know why, but I love that word!)
