to eddie and esther. i have seen true love.

my love
50 years ago we began
not fearing hard times or falls.
we were full of life and prayer.
we were young and in love.
with God, we could do all.

right you are my love.
after the war we joined our spirits,
with the blessing of our lord above.

then our children came.
gifts from a loving God,
a blessing they remain.

50 years ago we began our journey as one.
now the little ones are grown.
we taught them God's love.
they will join us in the harvest
of the lord above.

dear one, 50 years and we are the same.
when we touch we still feel the flame.
thru all the test and trials of life.
we still sing the praises to the Lord.
honoring his name.

so true my dear, troubles came and sorrows went
we stood together, the price was high,
he paid the debt, his blood on the cross
as the angels wept.

my love,
we have walked as one
through this worldly space
we have walked it with God
he set our pace.
that we may live again
and love forever.
in a most beautiful, heavenly place.
home finally home.

A tribute to love to this couple who were lucky in love to find in one another True love with the blessing of God as we all move toward Easter just a reminder that we have a lot to be thankful for to He who gave in order for us to live. True love really does exist within these line and not just a myth
