A Prayer For Gary...(Enjoy The Ride)

Send an Angel, Lord
to soothe his sorrow
with visions of brighter days.

~
Fill his heart with laughter
of a child; dry his tears
with your Heavenly rays.
~
His shoulders

are heavy, Lord
Won't you please lighten his load?

~

Fill his spirit

with undying hope
to travel this lonely road.
~
I am just a humble poet, Lord
whispering this prayer

for a friend

~

who owns a heart of gold,
and always

has a smile to lend.
~
Walk beside him, dear Lord.
Let your gentle spirit

be his guide,

~

for Adam would have wanted
his "Pops"

to "enjoy the ride."...

I have a favorite poem that Gary wrote about a trip with his son . That is part of what my poem was based on. It is a simple prayer, but a heartfelt one for you, my dear friend.....

These precious words you all have written here have touched me more than you will ever know and the tears the words have brought.     Simply a marvelous and beautiful poem all round. very much enjoyed this poem and loved the way this poem flowed through out. excellent work all round and very well worded. To me hheart of gold is perfect for the poem but in a way I would think of him as having a heart mad eof diamond because although heart of gold makes sense LOL don't get me wrong he never had a heart that could be broken and it still isn't broken because he's in eveeryone's hearts and memories. simply a very beautiful poem and keep up the Grrrrrreat work. Me

    I left a long review yesterday on your

    The picture is awesome and the structure

    I can't handle much pain within this world that seems to pass us by so fast, with all it's sufferings and such. But I know that souls such as yourself lend a helping hand and a healing heart to those in need of shelter from so many of life's tough storms. I am so sorry for Gary's loss. I send my love to him as well. Thanks for being such a wonderful example on how to live life and give love my dear friend. May you be blessed, for you surely are a great blessing!
