Tied to the Tracks

I'll write my own bible
repeat it in my head
dedicate it to memory
to replace what you've said

envelopeing all trains of thought
the great derailer of my heart
I see no tunnels of light nor dark
guess i missed the green pastures part

food loses tase and music looses sound
sleepless, lonely, weary and weak
I've lost my song and fell into hell
My Holy Word says not what to seek.

Author notes

Hey I really like this one, even though you say it's not your best it does have lots of potential and meaning, to me at least. Great job Madison.
