    A jewel to die for . . . that could be literal or figurative . . . as could other images in your poem, which is what I like about it. There is more within the stone to be seen than just its shine. Thanks so much for entering my contest!

    Yes, the poem AND the diamond! Beautiful to see and own but not to die for, although it has happened throughout history. I really admire the way you illustrated and wrote this poem.
