During a chilly, October night,
Through angry and curious chat.
One they call, 'kirbysman' joined,
To help settle this ugly spat.
Stories of many sparked interest within,
As discussion progressed more each day.
Talks before tennis followed daily routine,
At times, serious, though laughter, never lay astray.
Hours turned to days, weeks then months,
Still, friendship continues to grow.
My life without you seems unimaginable now,
You, Paul, are an angel sent from heaven, to us, below.
No words can describe what you truely mean to me,
You've guided me during times I've felt vulnerable and lost.
There has not been a day that has passed me by,
Where I don't give thanks for the day our paths crossed.
It is you I must thank for being here for me,
Lending an ear and leading me in the right direction.
You're like the father I've always dreamed of,
Loving me for me, not disappointed of my inperfections.
You're kind, caring, compassionate and so much more,
No one could ask for a sweeter friend.
You amaze me so much and I admire you in every way,
I will, always, love you 'til the end.
Author notes
For you, Sir Paul.
Hugs and much ♥
Thank you for being you. =)

Well, sometimes even people of words are left . . . well, wordless. Not sure quite what to say, Nic, except thanks, and that seems kind of weak and frail. But, it comes from way down deep in my heart. I've said before that it's amazing how we just seemed to "click" from the very first few minutes of conversation and it hasn't slowed or wavered a bit since. Friends are so precious, and the ones you haven't met in person are no exception. Hopefully one day that will change.
Thanks for being my friend - I treasure you greatly. And, once you get your new phone we can talk more about this.
Many
's and bunches of love to you. I'd be proud to have you as a daughter anytime.
Paul
