Ah, my Blessed Soul...

Where have You been lately?...
my eyes cannot see...

For the mist swirls slowly in the night-
and the moon, though bright,
hides behind silver clouds.

A door has opened
and this one has stepped a foot through
to test the air...

It is fresh... and familiar...

A hunger wells up in the Depths
and there is something that is reached for...
a yearning not yet realized...

Star-Light shines through the fleshly cloak-
Into the eyes of the Heart...
and I can hardly bear to see THAT
which is presented in the pale glow...

...yet I cannot look away...

Though these eyes - blinded by the delusion-
would see only your absence...
it is... but an illusion...

For HERE You ARE...
in the midst of ALL that I AM,

...singing Your song of unity and creation
for all to hear,

...and I do hear! I hear You with more than my ears!

Rise up, dear ONE, that all may see and hear and Know...

Oh, how Holy!

Oh, how wondrous!

Rise up, my Blessed Self!

    Divine

How beautifully divine, when the heart crys out to see that reflection of the divine there is that power to creat even that show of wonder. Yet even without the that outer reflection the beauty inside still dwells.
See the beauty, feel the beauty, this is what it is all about.
    Lovely, Presence Tara

How true, the similarity of the presence and absence of one with whom we are one. I love your play with light and mist, a great perception. Best wishes.

What a wonderful piece Presence , the talk to the self and being so in touch with it..
Though these eyes - blinded by the delusion-
    would see only your absence...
    it is... but an illusion...
It is sad part of the poem, it is so deep in thoughts..
your style remind me of sufis poets..I really enjoyed it..Thank you for sharing.

In the midst of all I Am, here you are. A blessed and sared Light that spills words from the heavens through the electronic glow of the computer screen.

Rarely do I find a I find a modern aged Song of Songs, but here with your song, I am lifted into the Eternal Embrace of Unity.

    Namaste, my friend.
    Namaste...
