I cannot help but notice
The radiant glow in the morning
This particular time of year,
As I berate the cold
That will very soon lose its hold,
My joyous heart begins to cheer.
For it is the sun’s warming rays
Leading to long extended days
That such wonderful miracles bring,
And it is this transformation
That leads me to anticipation,
Of the season
We all know as spring.

I really liked this poem, its very fitting as that's the transitional period we're in at the moment.
As I berate the cold
That will very soon lose its hold,
I like the idea of the coldness of winter finally losing its grasp to make way for warmer things.
Very well penned. Thankyou for submitting your poem and good luck in my contest! -
and I will join you in the anticipation of spring
You worded this beautifully [ethereal]. We have had some days with almost 80degrees and now this am there were a few snow flurries again. I guess patience is the key. Thank you for sharing this refreshing outlook,

Beautiful and very descriptive. I love the anticipation of a season. I love spring and fall. Great job on this poem.
