~ * ~

Morning Dad,

I thought you might need a

wake-up call on this beautiful day.

The Angels and I've already had communion

and in my prayers, I did ask God to

make sure he keeps an eye

out for you.

~ * ~

I need you

to know that the Lord has

been taking great care of me while up

here in the heavens above, and he allows me

to watch over the balconies, where

I have seen your tears, but

Dad, don't cry.

~ * ~

Gods' love is

designed to be perfect,

and there is no flaw in his plans for

those who have Faith, believing upon his Holy

word, and sharing your courage as you

have done since we parted.

I'm still here.

~ * ~

Yes, it may

be lonely for you, and

you might not understand why it was

my turn to leave you, but know in your heart I am

with you always, until the day comes

when God sends for you too.

Love you, Dad.

    Powerful!!!!

This really hit me hard, I think because my mom passed away when I was younger and I am always wondering how she is doing, it is just one of those things where I wish, maybe for one moment I could send a letter to her, to let her know I still love her.

This poem is really good, and it left an imprint in me, like quite footsteps of words echoing through my mind.
I can honestly say you have my respects

    Nothing left to chance

I was going to give you a ten for the son conversing with the Father and then read the rules where this was one of the options. That is ok as you did a fabulous job of making that happen. Secondly, as a rogue poet who writes whatever I please, you did all that was possible in maintaining the form you chose and having the conversation. Third, you maintained througout the piece the son's ability to see through the pale knowing the Father cannot. The expression of feelings from the otherside for the one now trapped in space and time is priceless. Also the presentation of ultimate destiny without any trappings is well performed. Finally, I believe it was a supreme touch to mention that we are all mortal and the Dad will soon, in his time, face the crossing over himself. I did not read what took gold, and it does not matter. You got it from beginning to end and faced the confinement of the form you chose as well. Bravo!

Please forgive my standarized comment here, but I am too emotional to see or think straight to leave a proper comment but felt a comment was certainly called for. I want to thank you for taking the time to honor Gary and his son Adam. Your words and sentiment are truly felt, trust me. My tears don't lie.

    PS

You owe me one dollar for a box of tissues I used reading this.

Such a lovely review on this piece ~

I wrote it...but you're making ME cry just by your sensitivity and Faith ~

I am so happy to know that there are many people turning from their old ways and accepting the FACT, that we are not just humans on a floating planet that just happens to sustain Life ~

The miracle of the human bodys make-up, should be a wake-up call all by itself ~

This was a very touching poem. Its a conversation that to anyone who has ever lost someone wishes they could have. To talk with that person one last time to know that they are all right and that they are watching over us. Beautiful write. Thanks for sharing.

      My Dear Friend, Shelley ~

Not only do I want to thank you for your review, but I would also like to thank you for allowing me to use your own personal created form... The *Triquain*, to pen something special for my brother, Gary ~

He deserves the best right now, and I feel the Triquain is one of the most beautiful Forms of Poetry which can be utilized to present our message ~

Thank you my Friend for your guidance during this process ~

This is beautiful...both in form and thought, and Gary will undoubtedly love every word. You write with such heart and serenity, quiet assurance and 100% certainty that Adam is with God in heaven. I could not help but think of my own son in heaven as I read, believing that he too looks down from heaven's balconies. Thank you for sharing this most touching write.

    Much love,
