I am a gentle traveler,
walking this earth waiting,
for the light to shine through.
I am spiritual and spirit-filled,
blessed beyond anything I deserve.
I am a poet, a lover of the written word;
my pen never stops:I can't silence this need.
I am a forever student,
needing knowledge to breathe.
I am loved and loving,
trying to give more than I take.
I am tenacious, sometimes willful,
but He keeps me in line with His grace.
I am a true believer; one who will not
walk away from His truth.
I am thankful, honest, and passionate,
I am so human, flawed, real.
All of this is because;
He died on the cross for me.
I am HIS.

What a strong statement of who you are because He died and rose again. What a wonderful testimony to His power.

Debby, HE is a traveler. HE is a poet. HE is love. HE is forever faithful. HE is willful. HE is honest. HE is passionate. And then you write this and show how you are a reflection of HIM. I'm reading this the whole time shouting under my breath, "GO GIRL!" I am so proud to read this. You forgot to add the stanza "I am a bold proclaimer; I will not be silent because HE is in me."--but it is implied!
I took a break at lunch to read some poetry and this is EXACTLY was I needed. Thank You! ..::WW::..

Isn't just wonderful to have the faith that you have? Knowing no matter what there is a reason for everything and you might not understand now and someday you will and you will know that it is right?
