I don't know what to say about this. I don't like it in the fact that it's about jesus. That it's about religion. I often try to take a step around that. But the poem itself, looking aside it's topic, is very well penned. I like how you described this one "person" who can help others no matter what, by just being there. Very nice!

May I just piggy back a little bit with it....I have known so many people that said they were carrying the light...which is an awesome thing for one to carry,
Especially when it's pitch dark (country dark) light would be of value, my only plea is for those who have the flashligh in their hands, make sure that your batteries are charged... not a good thing to carry a lightless light. It's just self defeating. lol So in my personal opinion this is indeed a good motto for one to have if the light they offer actually shines.
