Under rays of silver light
Eerie beauty of the night
You lure me in, I fall and drown
You drag my limp body across the ground
Faint is my heartbeat, shallow my breathing
"No, not just yet" you continue repeating
I finally pass out, and no longer know
Where I am in this blanket of snow
My eyes slowly open to see you there
with blood down you face and streaked in your hair
My neck is aching, my body shaking
and in my head I am debating
whether to try to escape and run,
or see what comes with the morning sun
But I can't move my body, so that plan is shot
and then I realize I'm burning hot
The shaking in my limbs accompanies my cringe
and in your gleaming eyes, a tinge of red there is
I try to scream but nothing comes out
I try again, this time managing a shout
"It's no use" you mutter " You're almost complete"
and as you say it, I rise to my feet.
"You're now one of us, there's nothing you can do"
"But why?" I stutter, glaring at you
"Do you not yet see?" you toy playfully
"I made you to be with me"
"I don't understand...What am I?"
"You are a vampire" you finally sigh
And as the moon rose silvery white,
Two vampires set out into the night.
Stalking through shadows, hunting their prey
drinking their blood until break of day
