A Simple Harlequin

I didn't mean to do it,
Is this a face that lies?
I wouldn't dare go thru with
such a colorful disguise.

Oh, boo, so I was fibbing,
At least you turned your back.
Ignore the C-4 ribbing
etched in the flour sack.

You need some entertainment?
Here, catch a bag of laughs.
Oops, here's our sweet repayment
Of 'Party Popped' Anthrax!

Watch your back, Black Rodent!
We'll get you - where or when?
Remember when you're life's spent
It's Joker and Harley Quinn!

Author notes

I wrote this for 'The Clown Prince's challenge on Harley Quinn. I chose to write from Harley's view in reference to a picture and carried it from there.

Hope you enjoy!

Good poem. The rhyme didn't seem to forced, which is a good thing, and I liked how the rhythm is kind of sing-songy. It fits Harley. Send me a message.
